Amana Fest is a community outreach initiative managed and operated by Amanacare Ministries, in partnership with local churches, nonprofit organizations, businesses, sponsors, and volunteers. The purpose of Amana Fest is to provide complimentary oil changes and basic vehicle inspection services to elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and low-income families within the community.
 

1. Nature of Services

All services provided through Amana Fest are offered free of charge as a charitable outreach effort. No payment is required to receive services. Any donations made to Amanacare Ministries are voluntary and are not a condition for receiving services.

The services provided may include, but are not limited to:

• Basic oil changes

• Fluid level checks

• Visual vehicle inspections

• Basic maintenance assessments

These services are performed by volunteers and partnering participants. Volunteers may or may not be licensed automotive professionals.
 

Participants receiving oil change services through Amanacare Ministries at the Amana Fest event are required to supply their own motor oil and oil filter appropriate for their specific vehicle.

The vehicle owner or authorized representative is solely responsible for:

• Bringing the correct type, grade, viscosity, and quantity of motor oil required for their vehicle.

• Bringing the correct oil filter compatible with their vehicle’s make, model, and engine type.

• Verifying that all supplied materials meet the manufacturer’s specifications for their vehicle.

Amanacare Ministries, Amana Fest, its volunteers, and affiliated partners:

• Will only install the motor oil and oil filter provided by the participant.

• Do not verify, guarantee, or certify the correctness, compatibility, brand, quality, or suitability of the oil or filter supplied by the participant.

• Shall not be held responsible or liable for the installation of an incorrect, incompatible, defective, or unsuitable oil filter or motor oil supplied by the participant.

• Shall not be liable for any mechanical failure, engine damage, oil leaks, performance issues, or other foreseeable or unforeseeable outcomes arising from the use of participant-supplied materials.

By participating, the vehicle owner acknowledges and agrees that all responsibility regarding the selection and suitability of motor oil and oil filters rests solely with the vehicle owner.
 

2. No Warranty or Guarantee

Amanacare Ministries, Amana Fest, its officers, directors, churches, nonprofit partners, business sponsors, volunteers, and affiliates:

• Make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, or effectiveness of services provided.

• Do not guarantee satisfactory results or outcomes.

• Do not warrant that the services will correct existing mechanical problems or prevent future vehicle issues.

All services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
 

3. Assumption of Risk

Participation in Amana Fest services is entirely voluntary. By accepting services, the vehicle owner or authorized representative acknowledges and agrees that:

• They assume full responsibility for their decision to participate.

• They understand there are inherent risks associated with vehicle maintenance and repair services.

• They accept all risks related to mechanical failure, pre-existing damage, or unforeseen issues that may arise during or after service.
   

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the State of Missouri:

• Amanacare Ministries and Amana Fest shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the services provided.

• Amanacare Ministries and Amana Fest shall not be responsible for any damage to vehicles, including but not limited to mechanical failure, oil leaks, engine damage, or other related issues, whether discovered immediately or at a later time.

• The vehicle owner agrees to release and hold harmless Amanacare Ministries, its partners, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising from participation in the event.
   

5. Donations Policy

Any donation made to Amanacare Ministries is:

• Completely voluntary

• Considered a charitable contribution

• Final and non-refundable

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances once a donation has been made.
 

6. Indemnification

By participating, the vehicle owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Amanacare Ministries, Amana Fest, partner churches, nonprofit groups, business sponsors, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, demands, actions, or legal proceedings resulting from participation in the event.
 

7. Governing Law

This Disclaimer and Liability Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes arising out of participation in Amana Fest shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of Missouri.
 

8. Acknowledgment

By participating in Amana Fest services, the vehicle owner acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms of this Legal Disclaimer and Liability Waiver.
